The Integral Finned Tubes, both Ferrous and Non-Ferrous are manufactured with the help of special purpose finning Machine, developed and fabricated in-house.

PFT has got all Test facilities in house, after finning of Tubes, such as :

STRESS RELIEF ANNEALING - The Fin tubes can be supplied duly stress relief annealed, as per customer’s specific requirements. ( strip chart can be provided )

HARDNESS TESTER - To check Hardness before finning and after Stress relief annealing of finned Tubes.

PROFILE PROJECTOR [10x, 25x, and 50x] - To check the Profile of the Fins to ensure, no cracks are observed on the fins.

PNEUMATIC PRESSURE - All Fin tubes are Pneumatically Pressure Tested (AIR UNDER WATER) at 20 Kg/cm2.

HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE TEST - All Fin tubes are Hydrostatically Pressure Tested upto 70 Kg/cm2.


GENERAL TESTING INSTRUMENTS - Micro-Meters, Vernier Calipers, Measuring Tapes, Etc., duly calibrated periodically.

MICROSCOPE (upto 500 X ) - To check the Microstructure and Grain size.

OTHER TESTS - Magnetic Particle Test, Mercurous Nitrate Test, Die Penetrant Tests, etc.

Fin Tube products can be supplied duly inspected & approved by: Lloyd's, Bureau Veritas, EIL, PDIL, Baxcounsel, Quest & others.
